As we set out to create the ultimate classic car road trip guide, we knew that this stunning region in southeastern France had to be at the top of our list. With its picturesque towns, pristine beaches, and winding roads, the Côte d'Azur is a paradise for classic car enthusiasts.

Our journey begins in the glamorous city of Nice, where we will be staying at the renowned Hôtel Negresco. This iconic hotel, located on the famous Promenade des Anglais, offers breathtaking views of the Baie des Anges and is the perfect base for our adventures. From Nice, we will embark on a 120 km journey along the A8 autoroute to the historic town of Cannes, famous for its film festival and stunning harbour.

As we cruise along the coast, we will take in the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and stop at some of the most picturesque villages in the region, including Èze and Villefranche-sur-Mer. With its narrow cobblestone streets and stunning medieval architecture, Èze is a must-visit destination for anyone travelling to the Côte d'Azur. Day 1: Nice to Monaco

We will take the A8 autoroute and then join the Basse Corniche, which runs along the coast and offers stunning views of the sea. From Menton, we will be driving back to Nice along the A8 autoroute, stopping at some of the region's most beautiful beaches along the way.

Day 2: Nice to Saint-Tropez

On our second day, we will be driving from Nice to the famous town of Saint-Tropez, a distance of approximately 120 km. We will take the A8 autoroute and then join the D559, which runs along the coast and offers stunning views of the sea. As we arrive in Saint-Tropez, we will be staying at the luxurious Hôtel Byblos, located in the heart of the town.
